The Best Job Tip for Every Employee
Working for years has thought me a lot of things. One of them is that during the course of your day, you are bound to forget something. My memory is actually my best asset. It is as porous as a dry spong. However, despite this fact, I still forget things. If you claim you are better than I am and haven't forgotten anything yet, you might not be remembering the things that you have forgotten (lol).
There are so many things happening during the work day. Forgetting is something that you shouldn't allow to happen. It is detrimental to everyone concerned and sometimes, it can cost you your employment. Want to know the best tip? It is to GET A NOTEBOOK. Write down everything that you need to remember. This includes your Things to do list, your agendas, project details, meeting pointers or just about anything related to your job. You'll rid yourself of the stress of forgetting something and you're sure to be on top of things all the time. This consequently leads to a more productive man.
Another benefit of this is that if ever you boss changes his mind on you or if he claims he remembers something differently from how you remember it, you always have written evidence that the way you did it is how he asked you to. Whenever you can, write down the date when you jotted down your notes. Also if your boss doesn't mind, ask him to write his initials on your notes when he assigns you something. This is for your protection. If he's a boss that values the importance of the work you guys are doing, he'll be glad to do it for you. He might even commend you on it.
