How to save time, waiting for a response

Undoubtedly, technology has presented us with a huge number of communication portals.  This includes the telephone, mobile phone, e-mail, snail mail, social networking sites, instant messaging services and much more.  When you are waiting for feedback or an answer about a certain subject from another person, choosing the right communication portal is key to saving your valuable time.

Whenever you can, you should call people or talk to them face-to-face.  Using SMS or e-mail usually takes a longer time.  It can also be misunderstood since your recipient cannot hear the tone of your voice or see your expression.  Talking in person or calling shows a level of urgency and gives the impression that you are serious.
