Obesity is one big problems that we need to bring into focus. Obviously, the culprit is over eating. However, here's one fact that you may not be aware of. Thirst symptoms are similar to hunger. People often mistake hunger for thirst because they feel the same. Our first instinct is to grab something to eat. Unfortunately, our faulty choices lead us to binge on fast food or something convenient like a hotdog. All of which are unhealthy choices.
You'll soon find yourself eating a Super Sized Value meal. The wrong thing with the picture is that there's no water! That meal you've just ordered has little water content. Not enough to curb your thirst pangs. What's more is your sipping on diuretic cola. It'll just lead to more thirst symptoms, you mistaking it for hunger again, consequently leading you to eat more unhealthy food. All of this could have been avoided totally by just drinking at least a glass of water. Hydrating yourself was what your body was asking for anyway.
This knowledge is very beneficial for dieters too because aside from giving you false hunger feelings, it also powers you body's fat burners. Water also aids in increasing your metabolism. Drinking first thing after you wake up jumpstarts your metabolism. Another tip is for you to drink water cold. You body will work overtime trying to warm the water for digestion.
