The Three Best Exercises You Can Do:
If you would have to do only three exercises, it would probably be those that target multiple muscle groups at the same time. The best three are the pullup, pushup and squat. These three target all the major muscle groups, giving your body an all-around total body workout. Your core benefits from the compound movement of these exercises as well.
The only thing you should consider when performing these exercises is your FORM! When doing squats, be sure that your knees are lined up with your heels when bending them so as to avoid joint injury.
The pullup may be a little challenging for beginners. One great tip you can do if you can't lift yourself up just yet is to use a chair. Place it below you, using it as an assist when performing the movement. You can get rid of it when you are strong enough to perform multiple reps.
The pushup on the other hand can be pretty easy to perfect. You can do the knee-assisted pushup if you can't do the normal one. But come on, brooding bachelors know how do it right! Once you're okay with the normal pushup, you can do advanced triangular/diamond pushups, clapping pushups and more.
These three exercises have a lot of variations. When you're strong enough, you can switch them up for better results.
