Tips on Dealing with Stress
The office environment is probably one of the main sources of stress for any brooding bachelor who is trying to build his career. The drive to be better at work, finish deadlines on time, show skills for a probable promotion and many other factors cause this work-related health dilemma. Keeping stress to yourself may be one of the worst things to do, especially at crunch time.
What's great about office stress is that you have the resources to deal with it at your disposal. They're your Colleagues! Interacting with your colleagues can aid you in dealing with stress, no matter how swamped you are with work. Colleagues can offer you the emotional and practical support to alleviate stress. Sometimes, this interaction can also get rid of it entirely. Studies show that men who didn't take advantage of this opportunity during heavy job stress were most likely to get depressed. On the other hand, those who took advantage of their colleagues' support tend perform better.
The saying, "No man is an island" refers to your office environment as well.
