YouTube Down for Maintenance

YouTube, the most popular video sharing site is experiencing an unschedule downtime as of this morning. This rendered video pages to not load at all. YouTube embeds all over the internet appeared as broken links. Despite the system down, the YouTube front page continued to load. However, clicking any of the video thumbnails will generate the downtime message. YouTube has acknowledged the problems on its Twitter feed earlier saying "We’re aware some users are having trouble accessing YouTube videos. We’re looking into it, and we’ll update everyone soon.” Facebook on the other hand appears to be experiencing some intermittent clocking too. Some users have reported that their timelines aren't updating. Are you experiencing issues with YouTube or Facebook?
