Did you know that just brushing your teeth could save your heart? Well, that fact was the result of a study conducted by Harvard. The study results suggest that brushing your teeth and flossing regularly could half your risk of stroke.
Statistics even showed that those who had the healthiest teeth and gums were also the least likely to have a stroke. The disease that causes the tooth to fall out is responsible for this. The periodontal disease causing bacteria may slip into the bloodstream, which may in turn damage blood vessels consequently increasing stroke risks. In my opinion, that’s more reason not to forget to brush your teeth.
