But now, this spot (Brooding Bachelor) is making this watch a big deal. The true identity of this watch will be revealed only in this spot. Seiko Rally Diver - a vintage Seiko from the late 1960s. It was intended as to function as a diving watch, thus the bright orange second hand and loud minute ring. But this watch has a checkerboard bezel, making things a bit confusing. Recycling tabs as bags provides livelihood for parents, raises funds to keep Filipino children in school.

Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, in partnership with Yellow Cab Pizza Company, launches “Open Coca-Cola, and help send a child to school today,” a campaign targeted at collecting aluminum pull tabs from Coca-Cola beverages consumed in all Yellow Cab Pizza restaurants nationwide.

When consumers purchase any Coca-Cola beverage sold in aluminum cans, they are asked to remove the aluminum pull tabs, and to drop these in the specially marked Coke 1.5L bottles found in all Yellow Cab Pizza Co. stores. Once the bottles are full, the tabs will be collected and donated to the Philippine Christian Foundation (PCF), an NGO partner of Coca-Cola Foundation which caters to over 400 children in Tondo, Manila, an urban poor community located across the former “Smokey Mountain”.

When you need Eyeglasses..

I previously worked for a company that required me to be in front of the computer for 8 hours everyday. The only break that my eyes get is when we get our two 15-minute brakes and lunch.  My eyes suffered from strain. It became progressively worse and I've been getting headaches.  My friends told me that my eyes need to be checked.

Fish Oil and its Benefits

Being born in a family with a predisposed heart disease, my parents insisted that me and all my siblings should take our daily dose of fish oil.  It didn't really make sense to me that time because I figured, oil equates to cholesterol and cholesterol only increases your risk of heart attack.  That time, I thought that  any type of oil was bad for your health.  It wasn't until I read articles about fish oil that I finally understood that not all oils and fats are bad.

Despite knowing this, I still hesitated taking fish oil.  My mom had that fish oil bottle and we had to take it using a spoon. Imagine how awful it was having to down that oily fish-smelling liquid.  When mother came home with soft-gel capsules, it was then that I knew I can finally take it without gagging because of the texture.

So what is fish oil?  Yeah you figured it out right. It's oil from fish. Medical practitioners sing praises about this because of the Omega 3 it contains.  Omega 3 fatty acids are one of the most important nutrients that are lacking in our modern diet.  Due to this deficiency, we now have a sudden spike of cancer, heart disease and brain disorder occurrence.

Conversely, studies showed that many diseases improved when they supplemented with omega 3.

Wikipedia says:

Fish oil is oil derived from the tissues of oily fish. It is recommended for a healthy diet because it contains the omega-3 fatty acids, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), precursors to eicosanoids that reduce inflammation throughout the body.

Taking fish oil, whatever the form can assist in regulating cholesterol in the body according to some experts.  Cholesterol is being regulated by the effects of DHA and EPA.  Aside from regulating your cholesterol, some of the additional benefits include anti-inflammatory properties and positive properties that improve the body's composition.

That fact alone canceled my previous misnomer about Fish oil.  I suddenly realized how helpful it is especially for those at risk of heart disease.  Well, even if you think you're not at risk, the benefits or fish oil are something you that's too good to ignore. That being said, I recommend all of you to take your daily dose of Fish Oil.  You'll be doing yourself a favor.
